Marco is an English cassation lawyer and solicitor. Partner of BSVA since 2017, he is head of the banking & finance areas of the Firm. He deals with banking, finance, restructuring, regulatory, capital markets, securities, structured finance and securitization, corporate law, M & A and corporate governance, corporate finance, insurance law, bankruptcy and litigation.

He oversaw transactions worth over €75 billion, often drafting all related documentation. He has been active in these areas for over twenty-five years. He assists, and has assisted in the past, leading Italian and international banking groups, companies and industrial groups in dozens of financial, banking, corporate and restructuring transactions. He assists clients in managing relationships with regulatory authorities, including Bank of Italy, Consob, IVASS, Borsa Italiana, MEF, MISE and BCE.

Mentioned as an expert in banking and financial law by Legalcommunity and various other publications, he is the correspondent for Italy of an international legal journal in banking & finance. He provides assistance and advice to leading law firms. He writes on legal issues for Italian and international publications, speaking as a speaker at conferences in Italy and abroad. He sits on the board of directors of an insurance company, part of a leading international listed group. He is part of the AmCham Insurance committee in Italy. He has been a partner in an associated law firm/law firm since 2004. Partner for eight years in a historic Italian associated law firm, he worked for more than 15 years – five of which as a partner – both in Milan and in the City of London, in three of the five major international law firms in England.
