Piero is a partner of BSVA; he conducts his practice in providing legal assistance in all the areas of so-called White-Collar Crime for domestic and international clients.

He first worked at a boutique criminal law firm, then at his own law firm. For 10 years, he was a partner at another Multipractice studio before joining BSVA in 2024 as a partner.

He also assists companies in 231 processes and compliance activities for the drafting of Organizational Models or in SBs, of which he has served as chairman for many years for leading Italian and multinational companies.

Since 2019, Piero has been listed in the Chambers Europe ranking and since 2010 in Italian directory surveys on the best criminal lawyers in Italy. He is the President of the Observatoire of Criminal Lawyers of Multipractice studios, of which he was a co-founder.

He is a member of Camera Penale di Milano and the Anticorruption Comitee of IBA and is a member of AODV and AIAS.

He has been a speaker at numerous conferences and training events on safety workplace, environment, anti-corruption and 231 matters.

He graduated from the University of Milan with a thesis on money laundering in U.S. criminal law, completed a semester of research at Harvard Law School, and collaborated for 10 years with Prof. Marinucci’s chair.

Admitted to the bar in 1994, he has been on the Special Register of Cassation Lawyers since 2008, authorized to practice before the Supreme Court of Cassation and other Superior Jurisdictions.

Piero speaks and writes fluently in English.
